Create and manage collections
You can create and manage Collections through the Admin Console.
Create a Collection
- Navigate to the Collections page.
- Click Create Collection in the top right.
- If you want to add Search to a website, select Site Search. If you are looking to add Search to an ecommerce store or an app, contact us. We will help you get started.
- Enter the name of the domain you want to add search to. If you want to search across multiple domains, you can add additional domains later.
- Provide a name for your Collection. (You will need to reference this name when you want to perform a search in your Collection).
- Click Create Collection. The Crawler will immediately begin indexing your webpages.
You can preview the records in your Collection from the Browse section. Please note the time for the Crawler to visit all your webpages can vary based on various factors. Refer to the Crawler documentation for more information.
Delete a Collection
- From the homepage of the Console, click the Collections icon from the left navigation menu.
- Click the Delete button for the Collection that you delete. Confirm the action to delete the Collection.
